Ten years of innovative strength at the Zwönitz site - the mayor congratulates us on our anniversary

On Wednesday, January 10th, the mayor of Zwönitz, Wolfgang Triebert (pictured right), paid a visit to our branch on site. He congratulated HÖRMANN Warnsysteme on the company's 10th anniversary.

Zwönitz, a liveable town with around 12,000 inhabitants in the Saxon Ore Mountains, is an important location for us. Zwönitz is not only home to a central branch for the installation and maintenance of sirens in Saxony, but is also an important location for the development and production of innovative warning systems. "Our developers in Zwönitz work closely with HÖRMANN Digital. Together, they are laying the foundations for the warning systems of tomorrow," says Anna Hörmann, Managing Director of HÖRMANN Warnsysteme.

Our siren warning systems warn people around the world of dangers such as tsunamis, floods, industrial accidents and other disasters. As a manufacturer, we are focussing on Germany as our production location. Electronic sirens from HÖRMANN warning systems are "Made in Germany" and are manufactured exclusively in Zwönitz. Our colleagues work closely with all HÖRMANN subsidiaries. This is because more complex or larger siren warning systems often require customised adaptations.

The impressive success of the branch is also reflected in the growth in all areas, with a total of 42 dedicated employees as at 31 December 2023. Each of them has made an important contribution to making HÖRMANN Warnsysteme in Zwönitz an important location in the Ore Mountains.

Special praise goes to the employees who extended their offices in the summer of 2023 - a real team effort in which everyone pitched in!
